When a catalog check fails
A missing price on a page is not automatically an out-of-stock event.
A product page can fail to load because the item is gone, because the offer changed, or because the request did not complete. The third case is common. Treating every failure as “unavailable” will empty a healthy storefront.
Dropenza keeps failed checks separate from confirmed unavailability. Live listings are not removed because a single request timed out. A listing is only taken down when you choose that action, or when a confirmed policy path is enabled by you.
When prices look stale, start with catalog health, then a single ASIN, then the store. Reversing that order is how catalogs are damaged.
